We currently have a vacancy at Fenton Lodge suitable for either a male or female with moderate to severe learning disabilities and some special needs. The room is a single on the ground floor.
Fenton Lodge specialises in care for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
Fenton Lodge is a fully accessible bungalow with accessible bathrooms and a house car for shopping, doctors appointments, day trips etc.
The home has a new manager, Alison Jelley and she is supported by a very able and highly trained staff team. Fenton Lodge's residents have access to a wide range of activites including, if they choose, joining the 'Friendship Club', adult education classes, day centre, day trips etc.
Fenton Lodge is part of Just Homes, a group of six residential homes for adults with learning disabilities. As a group Just Homes has experience with challenging behaviour, dementia, autism, complex medical needs etc. Our home managers provide one another with support, back up and sharing their various expertise.
Just Homes is run by Mary Eales, a qualified learning disability practitioner (RNMS), who plays an active role in all the homes, attending reviews, house staff meetings, senior staff meetings and regularly visisting all of the homes in the group.
